Checklist

The ESRS Reporting Templates provide a reliable and user-friendly tool to meet the obligations outlined in the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.

The ESRS document describes three disclosure requirements that companies must meet. The first, G1-1, concerns corporate culture and business conduct policies. Companies must have a plan to promote a positive corporate culture and good business conduct, with policies in place to deal with unethical behavior and protect whistleblowers. They must describe how they create and promote their values, investigate business conduct, and train employees on ethical behavior. G1-2 concerns management of relationships with suppliers, and companies must manage relationships fairly and transparently, taking social and environmental factors into account when selecting suppliers. They must describe how they manage relationships with suppliers, how supplier relationships affect the supply chain, and their strategies for working with suppliers. G1-3 concerns the prevention and detection of corruption and bribery, and companies must have procedures in place to prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to allegations or incidents of corruption and bribery. They must describe how they prevent, and handle situations related to corruption and bribery, how they train workers and suppliers on corruption and bribery, and an overview of the procedures in place to prevent, detect, and address corruption and bribery. If a company does not have procedures in place, they must disclose this and explain their plans to implement them.
