ESRS E2 Pollution Reporting Template

The ESRS Reporting Templates provide a reliable and user-friendly tool to meet the obligations outlined in the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
Companies responsible for managing a company's environmental impact need to identify any ways in which their company is causing pollution or harm to the environment. They should use tools and methods to screen their company's activities and locations to find any risks and opportunities to reduce pollution. The company should also consult with affected communities and consider the impact of their company on nature-related risks and opportunities. The company needs to create a document describing the methods used to identify risks and opportunities related to pollution and other environmental impacts, assess the severity and likelihood of these risks, and describe the process for consulting with affected communities. Companies should set targets based on assessing material impacts, risks, and opportunities related to pollution and other environmental factors, using a four-phase LEAP approach. When providing information on the outcome of its materiality assessment, a company should provide a list of site locations where pollution is a material issue and a list of business activities associated with pollution material impacts, risks, and opportunities.
