How to become a B corp?

In order to become a B Corp, an organization needs to go through the B Impact certification process. In the certification process an organization needs to obtain a minimum of 80 out of the possible 200 points. B Corps need to be transparent about their score from the moment they are certified.

Points are assigned based on the B Impact Assessment (BIA). This BIA is an online questionnaire where points are given to every answer that leads towards a positive impact on the Triple Bottom line.

The B Impact Assessment is divided over different sections:
Workers, Community, Environment, Governance and Customers.

When the B Impact Assessment is reviewed by the B Lab, a validation interview takes place. The B Corp Declaration of Interdependence is signed, and your organization is officially B certified!
